Wish Upon a Starre was founded in 2017 by Abbie, who has a deep background in performing and a passion for creating magical memories. After working as a professional performer in theatres across the UK and with the prestigious Disney Cruise Line, Abbie returned home to Dorset with a clear mission: to bring theatre-quality, deeply magical character entertainment directly to local families.
What started as a single princess visiting local homes has blossomed into Dorset's premier, award-winning entertainment company, supporting a team of professionally trained performers and bringing smiles to thousands of little starres every single year.
Why we do it
Childhood is short, and the years of pure belief and wonder are even shorter. We believe that when a child meets their hero, it shouldn't just look like someone in a costume—it should feel like meeting the real character. We do this to capture that fleeting moment of absolute magic, helping families create precious memories that they will treasure for a lifetime.
What makes us different
We stand apart because of our training and theatrical standards. Every single performer we hire has professional background in vocals, drama, or musical theatre. Our custom-made dresses are crafted from heavy, luxurious bridal satins (no cheap plastic-style fabrics!), and our custom wigs are styled beautifully. We bring live, highly skilled singing performances and engaging theatre to every single booking.
