We never mime! All sessions feature live theatre-standard vocals and live backing instrumentation.
✨ What to expect
Our classes are structured to guide young minds through a fun, themed adventure. We begin with a warm acoustic welcome song, introducing puppets who guide children through nursery rhymes and interactive tales. Next is physical play with colourful sensory props—including bright silk scarves, percussion drums, parachute lifts, and a magical cascade of gentle bubbles.
Every element is chosen specifically to enhance motor development, social collaboration, and vocal mimicry in a gentle, warm, and highly supportive atmosphere.
👶 Who it’s for
We cater to distinct developmental cohorts to ensure the content feels right:
- • Little Starres (0 - 12 Months): Gentle touch play, high-contrast visual props, and soothing lullabies focus on parent-child connection.
- • Wandering Starres (1 - 3 Years): More active storytelling, dance, movement, musical instruments, and interactive peer socialization.
- • Preschool Groups (3 - 5 Years): Cooperative roleplay, puppet tasks, and vocal call-and-response.
📝 Parent/carer information
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to session times. Parents and carers are required to remain with their children throughout the class and are warmly encouraged to join in with the songs, movements, and props!
All props are thoroughly sanitized before and after every class. Changing facilities are available at all our primary Dorset hall locations.
